ARC stands for Answer, Reserve, Charge, and Mia does the talking. When a customer writes “anything open Saturday?” she offers only the times you actually have free, sends the deposit link, and the appointment goes on your calendar. Channels, the calendar, and charging are modules with a fixed monthly price, and you choose only the ones you need. ### What kinds of businesses is it for? For businesses that run on appointments, like med spas, beauty salons, barbershops, and cleaning services. It isn't built for restaurants, or for businesses bound by HIPAA health-privacy rules, like dental offices and medical clinics. ### Does Mia ever make up prices or times? No. Prices come from your service list, and times from your calendar. If a service has no price, Mia doesn't make one up: she passes it to your team. ### What if customers message me at night or on weekends? Mia answers any time, including days you're closed. From 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM, she doesn't send reminders or follow-ups, and team alerts by WhatsApp or text wait until morning unless it's urgent, like an appointment in the next 12 hours. Each business can set its own quiet hours. ### Which language does Mia answer in? Spanish or English, whichever they write in. If they write in Spanish, she answers in Spanish; an “ok” doesn't change the conversation's language. ### What if Mia doesn't know the answer? She passes it to your team: she flags the chat and alerts each team member on the first active channel that works (WhatsApp, then SMS, then email). ### Can I reply myself? Does Mia stay out of it? Yes. When you or someone on your team replies in a chat, Mia stops answering there for one hour. You can also pause her in a chat until you turn her back on. ### What does Mia do with photos, voice notes, and files? Mia understands voice notes. When someone sends a photo or a file, she replies: “Just got it, thank you. I sent it to the team, and they'll be the ones to reply.” ### Does Mia give medical advice? No. She only says what your business wrote. Anything else, like risks, results, or recovery, goes to your team. ### Which channels does Mia answer on? WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and SMS, each with its own module. SMS starts once the carriers approve your registration. Mia's website chat comes with a website we build for you, quoted separately. ### Can I keep using WhatsApp on my phone? If your account allows it, yes: you keep replying from the WhatsApp Business app on your phone, and those chats show up in ARC too, except group chats. The biggest changes: broadcast lists stop working, and your linked devices are unlinked; you see the full list before you connect it. If your account doesn't allow it, you set up a new WhatsApp number for ARC, and the one on your phone stays as it is. ### Can I send WhatsApp campaigns to US numbers? No. WhatsApp doesn't deliver campaigns to US numbers. Text campaigns do, but they need their own permission. ### What happens when someone replies STOP? They stop getting campaigns. If they texted STOP, none of your texts reach them anymore, not even Mia's. Only they can undo it. If they've already bought from you, they stay in Customers. ### Do appointments show up in my Google Calendar? Yes. ARC uses your business's Google Calendar: it sees when you're busy so it can offer your open times, and it only creates, moves, or removes the appointments booked through ARC. Booking only works with Google Calendar. If you don't use it yet, you set it up with a Google account and connect it from your portal. ### How is the deposit charged, and where does the money go? Mia sends a payment link inside the conversation, and ARC records the payment automatically. The money goes straight to your business's Stripe account; Stripe's processing fees are theirs to charge, not ours. It's the “Charge in the conversation” module, and it isn't part of the bundle. ### What if someone books but doesn't pay the deposit? The time is held for 1 hour (each business sets how long). Before it runs out, they get a reminder; if they still don't pay, the time is released and Mia offers to find another one. ### Does Mia send reminders? Yes: to your customer, 24 hours before and 1 hour before; to your team, 1 hour before. None go out from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. ### Does it work with multi-session packages? Yes. The package starts once it's paid, and it can be paid in installments, each one due at a specific session. When you mark a customer as “Showed up” and they have no other session booked, Mia holds the next one for them and offers it, without treating it as confirmed. ### How much does it cost? Each channel with Mia is a module with a fixed monthly price, and there's no per-conversation charge from us. Here's how the Terms of Service put it: “Meta and WhatsApp traffic is paid from the business's own provider account. For SMS + Mia, carrier registration, the phone number, and message traffic are itemized separately and billed through Noiseless at Twilio's actual cost, with no markup.” ### Can I cancel any time? Yes, and you cancel it yourself from Modules, no call needed. The bundle is cancelled as a whole, not channel by channel. Here's how the Terms of Service put it: “Cancelling a subscription stops the renewal, not the service: the module stays active until the end of the period already paid for, and the money for that period is not returned.” ### What do you do with my customers' data? We use messages to serve your customers and to support and improve ARC. We don't use them to train AI models. OpenAI, ARC's AI provider, processes them as our service provider, and our team's AI coding assistants may also process them; our Privacy Policy explains how. We do not sell personal information. ### How do I delete my data? From the “Data Deletion” page, or by contacting us. ### How do I get started?
